Marwan ‘DJ Bliss’ Parham is the first of his kind in the powerful city of Dubai, being undoubtedly among a very select and small group of Emiratis expanding their career and taking their talent Internationally.

Creating a union between music and life, Bliss is currently part of the Dubai One family with his two TV shows ’20 Something (Season 1 & 2)’ and ‘Emirati’, both aired their first episodes in October 2009. This has turned him to UAE’s most wanted MC and DJ for awards, charity events, corporate events and auctions including the ‘Sports for a Better World’ under the patronage of HRH Princess Haya, the Dubai International Film Festival 2009 and 2010, Gulf Film Festival 2010 and 2011, the launch of Costa Cruise, the Cartier Polo Challenge, the Dubai World Cup at Meydan, WOMAD and the Sport Accord Convention. Bliss also had the honor of hosting the opening ceremony in 2010 and bring Dubai into the New Year 2011 from the world’s tallest tower ‘Burj Khalifa’ as well as being the leading DJ for Armani Hotel’s club ‘Prive’. Abu Dhabi’s Formula 1 2009 and 2010 gave Bliss the opportunity to warm up for Beyonce, Prince, Nelly Furtado, Taio Cruz, Tinchy Stryder, Jamiroquai, Kings of Leon and Aerosmith taking him to a new level of achievement.

Winning TimeOut Dubai’s Nightlife Award for ‘Best Local DJ 2011’, a three time ‘Ahlan HOT 100′ winner for ‘Up & Coming’ 2009, 2010 and 2011 and voted for ‘Bachelor of the Year’ by VIVA 2008 and 2009, Bliss has established himself as the UAE’s music master and celebrity. This year he will be celebrating his 10 years in the music and club industry with the roots of his talent stemming from Hip-Hop and R&B.

Regularly interviewing celebrities, such as Usher, KanYe West, Akon, Sean Paul and the Black Eyed Peas, Bliss has expanded his reputation on an international level. Bliss is also working closely with Clinton Sparks, DJ Drama, Young Lloyd and Kardinal Offishall for future music collaborations and joined Shaggy on his tour across Australia in early 2010. Bliss has also become part of the Beats by Dr.Dre International family by being the official representative of Beats – Monster across the Middle East.

The summer of 2010 took Bliss on his summer tour ‘Catch Me If You Can’ traveling to Germany, Crowns Club and Club PM, Spain for Playa de Javea On The Beach Festival and Morocco, Nikki Beach and Jama. Following his tour Bliss was invited by The American Consulate to be part of the International Visitors Leadership Program touring the US for a month allowing him to be a guest on 106 & Park as well as be part of Power105 Live.

Releasing his first album ‘The Projects’ with BMGI, an exhilarating mix of R&B entering the TOP 10 at Virgin Megastores in 2003, led him to reach the pinnacle of DJ prominence by winning the Middle East Regional ‘PALME DJ of the Year Award’ in 2004 solidified his career and reputation. By 2006, Bliss was given a position as a radio DJ and entertainer for Radio1, the Number 1 hit music station in the UAE with his ‘Daily Drive-time’ show and his established weekend ‘Real Flava.’

With many projects coming up in 2011 related to TV, going on tour, film and music DJ Bliss continues expand the boundaries of music and entertainment to the world…
